I hope you’re all keeping well – we’re now into the last week of January, already! Can you believe that.
Last week, we added a blog post to inform you about the issues with Royal Mail International Delivery, and we wanted to give you a further update on this today.
As previously mentioned, Royal Mail were subject to a security attack, which has resulted in the halting of them shipping International orders until they are comfortable that they can safely and securely resume operations. During this time, they have also asked for no other International orders to be added to their system.
We have been keeping tabs on this on a daily basis, and sadly there has been no confirmation of operations being fully back to normal as of yet. They have begun shipping untracked orders, as well as items that are just letters (and ultimately have no contents). Royal Mail are adding updates to their bulletin daily, which I’ll link below for you to have a read of, if you so wish;
As mentioned in the previous blog, “if your selected method was “International Tracked and Signed”, your order sadly won’t have been shipped yet, and won’t be able to be shipped until this issue has been resolved. Orders are picked and packed, but sadly we just can’t send them yet. This will be the case for Amazing Defenders orders, as well as any orders placed on the new website, including plushies/figures etc”.
Please be aware - If your selected method was DHL, then there are currently no issues, and no delays are expected. Also, if you are based in the UK, there is no delay.
We can only apologise for any delays caused here. As you can imagine, this is incredibly frustrating for us as well as this is sadly completely out of our control – and with the smooth launching of the new website, this has slowed things down again.
As mentioned above - we’re pre-emptively picking and packing all your orders, so as soon as Royal Mail International Services are back up and running again, we’ll label them up, get them out the door and on their way to you lovely people.
Thank you for your patience and understanding with this – fingers crossed everything will be up and running again very soon and you’ll all have your orders. In the meantime, if you’d like to make any amendments to your orders as a result of the delays caused by Royal Mail International Services, please get in touch by emailing us at email@example.com, and we’ll do everything we can to help you.
Thanks again – hopefully next time I do a blog post it’ll be for something a bit happier!
Speak to you soon!
