Yu-Gi-Oh! (you may or may not have noticed) is going insane. A sentence I definitely didn’t expect to be starting with this March, or even in 2026.

It’s been a funny time at TierZero over the past 12 months. We’ve moved locations multiple times, including a full relocation of over 300 miles, which ended with me being a bit of a numpty and having an accident. I’m now back at work, pinned together like Frankenstein’s monster and working one-armed, but working nonetheless, so I thought I’d start with a quick update on what’s been going on, what’s coming up, and just a general catch-up (especially as I missed February’s while I was in hospital).

Most pressingly: Maze of Muertos. What’s happening?

It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. In seven years we’ve never missed listing singles from a set, and this one came very close. We do now have some to list. They won’t be the cheapest, but they also won’t be dreadful compared to current market prices. If you want the full breakdown on what happened there, I posted another blog yesterday going into the details . https://tierzerogames.com/blogs/news/the-set-we-almost-didn-t-sell

Rarity V is coming next month and, ever since we saw the Grandmaster rares and overframes blowing up the internet (and people’s wallets), interest has absolutely taken off. At the moment stock is okay and we’ve requested more, but if they announce serialised cards in the TCG, who knows what happens next. We’ll also have Japanese boxes of Limit Collection Heroes & Rivals available next week, alongside a restock of accessories.

March will mostly be dominated by restocks: a massive stock clearance sale, Legendary Modern Decks, Pokémon restocks, and Perfect Order (a set we hopefully won’t have to limit sales on… surely not?)then if we can sims Riftbound Singles.

Leo, our tech manager, is working on some really exciting updates that should be coming soon. These will allow us to sell singles for more games, introduce some special membership and loyalty schemes, and most importantly reward all of you for continuing to support us.

Aside from a few small shipping issues, the mystery boxes seemed to go down really well, which was great to see. They actually cost us more than we made on them, but hopefully they can become a fun way to run sales in the future without the usual perception that mystery boxes are a scam.

While we look to bring in some additional staff this month, we do expect there may still be some small delays with order processing (again, my fault, turns out you really do use two hands in this job).

If there’s anything specific you’d like us to cover in these updates, let me know and I’ll do my best.

Once again, thank you all for the support, the well wishes, and for continuing to help us do what we love.

Ollie

One last thing.

We’ve had more customers asking how they can support us. We’ve never pushed reviews, I just let them come naturally. But the reality is negative experiences are far more likely to result in a review than positive ones.

If you’ve genuinely had a good experience with us over the past seven years, I’d really appreciate a Trustpilot review (link). And if there’s something we can improve, I’d appreciate that feedback too.
